Our Langstroth UNWAXED Plastic Foundation measures 425mm x 120mm. This is a hive essential that can withstand the test of time and beehive extractions. The cells are designed with a textured interior and sharp edges that entice bees to accept it quickly. For best results, use this product in every frame location - bees love to use it as a brace against pure wax foundations!
To apply wax to this foundation, you can either immerse it in molten wax (at a temperature of 60-70°C) or use a roller dipped in molten wax for application.
