Apis Through the Looking Glass Book

As any beekeeper knows, the world of the honeybee is fascinating. Beekeepers tend to treat each colony as a ‘super-organism’, managing it as though it were a single entity whereas of course it is made up of many thousand individual members who work together for the benefit of the whole.

This book is based on a lecture “Honeybee Anatomy” which was first given at the BBKA Spring Convention 2009. It provides a close up look at the external and internal structures of the honeybee. The diagrams and photographs are amazing and will give the reader a fascinating insight into the honeybee.
