Our assembled open mesh varroa floor has a galvanised mesh screen allowing air flow from the bottom of the hive. An extended landing board just perfect for bees to land and enter the hive. It has a simple and easy pull out correx board - great for monitoring of mite populations - once the mite has fallen through it cannot climb back up making it an  effective part of your all-round varroa treatment.

National open mesh floor with landing board

Good quality item and reasonably priced. Varroa board comes with a wooden handle which is an added bonus in comparison floors purchased elsewhere. The shape of the landing board does prevent the use of existing mouse guards but not a major problem. I am very impressed with the level of customer service and delivery of Hagen’s Bees exchange process. Thank you for sorting things out for me.
